Breast Implant Exchange with Internal Bra Support

This patient presented with widely displaced breast implants and a significant gap in the midline. She desired fuller breasts with closer cleavage and a higher implant position. Her original 240 cc high profile implants were exchanged for 385 cc Natrelle full profile implants to better match her frame and aesthetic goals.

Although high profile implants are often thought to provide more upper pole fullness, when they are too narrow, they can contribute to implant malposition and excessive spacing. To further support the new implant position and reinforce the lower breast contour, a Galaflex internal bra was used. This bioresorbable mesh helps stabilize the pocket and encourages long-term soft tissue support as it integrates into the patient’s own tissue.
