This is a very nice woman who lost greater than 100 lbs after bariatric surgery. She was left with profound sagging of the entire trunk and wished to undergo a dramatic body transformation. Dr. J performed a circumferential (360 degree) tummy tuck, but instead of joining the incision in the back, curved the incisions up to correct looseness of the upper back, sides and upper abdomen; this is known as an “oblique flankplasty.” The patient is seen just three months out from surgery, with a profound change in size and body shape.
