This is a 47 year old woman who had a hard time applying makeup to her eyelids because of excessive skin, as well as of bags of the lower eyelids. She underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty with removal of skin and fat, and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with removal of fat through an incision on the inside of the eyelids. She also underwent a chemical peel of the lower eyelids to provide mild skin tightening. More than a year after surgery, subtle improvements are visible. The upper eyelid crease is crisp, allowing for easier application of makeup, and the eyes appear more open.
