The patient is a 41-year-old woman who wished to have larger buttocks. The patient had relatively poor skin elasticity of the back, the result of massive weight loss. She had previously undergone a tummy tuck; Dr. Jejurikar recommended a posterior trunk lift (excision of skin from back) to tighten the skin of the back and buttocks. Because the patient planned future pregnancy, she decided against posterior trunk lift. Instead, she only underwent liposuction of abdomen, back, and flanks with fat injection into the buttocks (Brazilian Butt Lift). Nine hundred and ninety mls were placed in each buttock. Postoperative photos were taken four months after surgery.
