Rather than creating a large implant pocket and letting the implant settle, Preservé uses precise, conservative pocket dissection tailored to the exact dimensions of the implant, a shorter incision, and no-touch delivery of the implant. Less tissue is disturbed, which means less bleeding, less discomfort, and a controlled pocket that holds the implant where it was designed to sit.
Dr. Jejurikar performs Preservé with Motiva® implants, whose flexible gel and self-orienting design are engineered specifically for this technique. Together they allow him to achieve a soft, proportionate result through a smaller incision than traditional augmentation.

How is Preservé different from traditional breast augmentation?
Traditional augmentation creates a larger pocket with more tissue dissection. Preservé plans the pocket to the implant’s precise dimensions and delivers the implant through a shorter incision without it ever touching the skin. The result is less trauma, a more controlled implant position, and typically an easier recovery.
What is recovery like?
Most patients are up and moving the same day and back to non-strenuous work within a few days. Dr. Jejurikar’s enhanced recovery protocol is designed to minimize or eliminate the need for opioid pain medication. Full exercise is phased back in over several weeks
Does Preservé require Motiva implants?

Will I still need an internal bra?
Not always, but Dr. Jejurikar uses internal support in a majority of his breast augmentations when the patient’s tissue calls for it. It is one more way of making sure the result you leave with is the result you keep.
